What is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound of industrial hemp. It happens to be the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp. Hemp is not to be confused with marijuana. Both hemp and marijuana fall under the general umbrella term “cannabis”, but unlike marijuana, hemp contains almost zero psychoactive compounds. This means CBD oils derived from hemp would never get you or your pet “high.”

What is CBD good for? CBD oil can be used to boost your pet’s overall health and wellness, but research has shown it has lots of therapeutic value and is capable of easing certain types of discomforts and ailments. Some potential benefits include, but aren’t limited to:

If your pet suffers from any types of chronic illness or ailment, you should always consult your veterinarian before offering a new supplement to your pet as a form of relief.

However, you can and should still feel confident giving your pet CBD oil as a general wellness boost because it is safe to use and has almost zero known negative side effects!
